In the summertime, Rite of Passage Journeys has a number of openings for responsible, caring, engaged individuals who are interested in exploring our work. For each of our youth and adult experience programs we hire three Mentors (this is what we call our staff). There are three levels to our staff team structure based on experience, they are: Program Coordinator, Program Mentor and Program Apprentice. Most of our seasonal program staff begin in the Apprentice Position. We believe strongly, that even with relevant wilderness and backcountry experiences, our program staff will best be trained and prepared through an experiential learning position. Regardless of the position you would like to apply for, please spend some time getting acquainted with our program offering. Then send us a copy of your current Resume (be sure to include any relevant certifications that you have – such as a Wilderness First Responder) and a Cover Letter that includes the program name(s) and date(s) in which you are interested. You will also be asked to print and complete our Staff Application (Download a PDF of it Here).
