The Legacy Fund
In honor of the passing of Stan Crow who left behind a rich legacy of community. Funds will be used in the development, printing, publishing and dissemination of resources on rites of passage in the coming years.

What is the Legacy Fund?
It was Stan's intention to publish his methods and learnings about mentoring and rites of passage to make this knowledge widely available, in an attempt to help see the vision that in our culture every individual has access to meaningful rites of passage at every major life transition. He found little time to do so, however, because he was too busy working in the field and mentoring people young and old alike! Through the establishment of the Legacy Fund, we seek to honor Stan Crow's memory and further his work through the development, publication, and dissemination of resources on rites of passage. This may include books, videos, CD's -- whatever medium can most effectively and widely share the information and methods gathered over Rite of Passage Journeys' 42 years, and Stan's lifetime. Much of Stan's work has been archived, on his computer, on video, and in the hearts and minds of those who worked with him. There is no higher way to honor his memory than to see this collection of knowledge available to those in transition, or those who wish to help young people on their life journey.

For what will the funds be used?
Funds will be used in the development, printing, publishing, and dissemination of resources on rites of passage in the coming years. Initail dreams include: 1 or 2 full-length books, on the history, philosophy, and methods of rites of passage and mentoring; a video or documentary on the same; and shorter films for widespread distribution. In rare circumstances, funds may also be used for the general operating expenses of Rite of Passage Journeys.
