An advanced course in ceremonial design and ritual leadership led by Journeys Elder, Randy Morris.

“By participating in a ritual, you are put in accord with the wisdom that is inherent within you anyhow. Your consciousness is being reminded of the wisdom of your own life.”

-Joseph Campbell

In this advanced workshop in ceremonial design and ritual practice, we will look more closely at the nature of self-generated healing ceremonies. Drawing upon ideas of the indigenous soul and the healing capacities of nature, we will enact a variety of ritual gestures available to seekers of earth-centered healing transformation.

Over the course of the weekend, we will design our own self-generated healing ceremonies and then enact them in the presence of compassionate witnesses. Previous experience with ritual enactment, preferably the Journeys class on Creating Soulful Ritual, is highly recommended, but not required.

Timing, Location, and Accommodations

10am Saturday May 5th - 4pm Sunday May 6th

Our venue will be a woodsy retreat near Maple Valley, WA, with indoor and outdoor spaces and a beautiful creek onsite. Camping and indoor accommodations are included. It is also fine if you'd prefer to stay elsewhere Saturday night, though we will be in ritual time for parts of the evening, so the end time is TBD. The exact address will be sent to registered participants.
