For many kids, this will be your first time away from home. That’s great! We have fun, kind, and skilled mentors (“mentors” are the adults that will be traveling with you—we call them that because a mentor is someone whose job it is to teach you and help you and support you and challenge you).

They’ll teach you all sorts of cool things that you’ve never done before—like maybe making dinner on a camp stove, or making “nature art” out of rocks and sticks that you find, or learning fun games like Ants on a Log, or how to sit quietly so that the animals won’t notice you until you get a chance to notice them first. You might learn that you have something to teach the other kids—some talent you never knew you had—because we all learn from everyone else on our trips. And you’ll get a chance to see what a Team can do, as you all get a chance to work together to reach your goals and accomplish things you never knew were possible! |
