Fall / Winter 2025:

Facilitated by Friedel Fisher

Journeys Basecamp, Bothell, WA | Oct. 18th, 2025 10am - 5pm PST

Part interdisciplinary presentation, part guided intuitive art workshop; together we will queer the Jungian archetype of the Fool from the major arcana. All participants will be encouraged to create a collaged anchor image to take home and use as visual inspiration, altar art object or personal iconography that reflects their unique relationship with this sacred archetype.

Facilitated by Rachael Witt of Wildness Within

Journeys Basecamp, Bothell, WA | Nov 8th, 2025 11am - 2pm PST

In this workshop, we will learn how to process broom corn – using the tassels for bristles – into an artisanal broom. Participants will learn broom-tying techniques and ways of assembling a handbroom that resembles a fanned turkey wing. All of your broom making materials will be provided.

Facilitated by Siena Tenisci of NW Grief Tending | Journeys Basecamp, Bothell, WA | Dates TBA

Join NW Grief Tending to honor the sacredness of our grief and gratitude through talking circles, singing, poetry, movement, practice in sacred listening, ceremony, sharing food, and some quiet time in nature.
