Starting with our End of Summer celebration and gratitude ceremony, Journeys has re-started our seasonal community gatherings known as the Heart of Journeys. The summer gathering will be in-person from 5-8pm at our Basecamp at Songaia Cohousing Community. It is an evening of celebrating the coming Summer with the new guides and apprentices who will be mentoring the youth on our trips.

This gathering will begin after the first day of Staff Training, and will include informal socializing from 5-6, eating together (potluck style with some food provided!) from 6-7, then circle together from 7-8 or so for some honoring of the upcoming summer Journeys, and some singing and dancing and other FUN.

The Heart of Journeys gatherings will continue seasonally in locations around the Seattle area. During this time of pandemic lockdowns and isolation, we are all fully aware of just how vital it is for us to gather and connect, in whatever ways we can. Connection is crucial for community, and we know that community is the Heart of Journeys.
