Soulful Space Holding & Leadership Program

How to Participate:

The Leading Soulfully program is designed for flexibility—because leadership isn't one-size-fits-all. You can take individual courses that align with your current needs and interests, or dive deeper by enrolling in multiple courses. Each course stands alone, offering a rich, immersive experience, but together they weave a powerful foundation for soulful, embodied leadership.

Courses repeat every two years, so you can continue your journey at your own pace. And when you're ready to commit to a broader exploration, we offer a discount for signing up for three or more courses at the same time. While there’s no requirement to complete all 12 courses, those who do will earn a certificate of completion, recognizing their deep engagement with this transformational work.

Many participants start with a single course and, after experiencing the depth and quality of our teaching, return for more. We invite you to begin wherever you feel called—knowing that each step will open new doors to leadership that is authentic, resilient, and deeply connected to self, community, and the natural world.

In an era where the pursuit of money and power often overshadows values like empathy, authenticity, relationship and connection, the need for soulful space holding and leadership has never been greater. Soulful leadership isn’t just about making decisions or driving results—it’s about leading from a place of purpose, heart, and integrity. Research shows that leaders and practitioners who prioritize compassion, purpose, and emotional intelligence foster health in individuals and organizational cultures that are so needed today. According to Louis W. Fry’s work on spiritual leadership, people and organizations grounded in values like altruistic love and hope are happier and create more positive outcomes in the world. Soulful leaders understand that the heart of leadership lies in understanding their unique gifts, serving others and connecting with something larger than themselves.

This program, Leading Soulfully: Purpose-Driven Leadership for a Divided Time, is designed for those who feel called to lead differently—leaders who want to inspire trust, resilience, and collaboration in their teams, communities and the world. Drawing from the latest research in somatics, psychology, transformational leadership, and emotional intelligence, the program offers practical strategies for integrating empathy, authenticity, and purpose into your leadership style. As Simon Sinek famously stated, “People don’t buy what you do; they buy why you do it.” This is your opportunity to align your leadership with your “why” and transform your practice, classes, or workplace into a space where individuals learn soulful tools for resilience and feel seen, valued, and inspired to make a difference.

Today’s national leadership landscape, often dominated by narratives of competition and self-interest, highlights the urgent need for a new model of leadership. A soulful approach doesn’t just stand in contrast—it offers a roadmap for meaningful change. Leaders, teachers, therapists, health care workers and others who participate in this program will learn to navigate complexity with integrity, foster cultures of trust, and create spaces where people thrive. By stepping into soulful leadership, you’re not only enhancing your own effectiveness but also contributing to a larger movement of values-driven leadership that can reshape how we approach challenges and opportunities in our world.  This isn’t about adding another skill to your résumé. It’s about becoming the kind of soulful leader the world actually needs.

Who is this for?

Mental health practitioners, facilitators, medical workers, teachers, parents, caregivers, team leaders/supervisors, non-profit leaders and those who want to lead with authenticity, to tap into their deepest values, and cultivate meaningful connections—with themselves, their clients, teams and the natural world.

Throughline of Content:

Each Soulful Spaceholding and Leadership course is built around five key elements, designed to transform spaceholding and leadership from the inside out:

  1. Deepening Connection to the Natural World – Shifting from ego-driven leadership to an eco-centered approach by drawing wisdom from connection to nature. Each course weaves in practices that strengthen our relationship with the living world.

  2. Embodied Spaceholding – Moving beyond logic-driven leadership to a more holistic, body-aware approach. Through somatic practices, participants will develop practices to enhance resilience, presence, and the ability to lead with both strength and sensitivity.

  3. Inner Depth Work – Redirecting focus from external achievements to deeper personal alignment and meaning. By exploring the inner landscape, leaders cultivate clarity, authenticity, and a stronger sense of purpose based on their unique gifts in the world.

  4. Embracing the Sacred & the Unknown – Letting go of the need for certainty and learning to trust what unfolds. This component encourages leaders to engage with mystery, intuition, and practices that reveal the unseen possibilities that can shape meaningful change.

  5. Leadership in Action – Moving from self-focused ambition to spaceholding and leadership in service of both human and more-than-human communities. Passion becomes purpose, and leadership becomes an act of care and commitment to the world.

Our Commitment to Brave & Safe Enough Spaces

Every course in Leading Soulfully is grounded in practices that foster trust, equity, mindfulness and authentic connection. Our facilitators have studied trauma-informed leadership, anti-racism, healthy communication, and consent-based facilitation—ensuring that each space is held with care and integrity. We recognize that true transformation happens in environments where participants feel supported, seen, and empowered to bring their whole selves into the work.

This commitment also means practicing cultural humility and honoring diversity, acknowledging that learning is ongoing and that wisdom exists in many traditions and lived experiences. We offer care and awareness around issues like cultural appropriation by acknowledging where our learning and lineages come from - We do this to offer respect, reciprocity, and awareness of historical and social context. We strive for accessibility, ensuring that our programs welcome diverse ways of learning, engaging, and participating. And when harm happens—as it inevitably does in real relationships—we lean into repair, embracing accountability, curiosity, and a shared responsibility to co-create spaces of growth and belonging.
