Resistance is Normal: Supporting your Teen to Step Outside Their Comfort zone
On Zoom | Session 1: Apr. 3, 2025, 7pm-8pm PST | Session 2: Apr. 30, 2025, 12pm-1pm PST | Donation Based / Pay What You Can
One of the most normal things for youth is to have resistance or avoidance. Their egos are doing what they’re designed to do, which is to keep them safe. Yet if we as parents don’t hold them accountable towards challenging themselves, trying new things and developing parts of themselves they might otherwise want to stay safe around, then their world shrinks. Learn some new tools around how to work with your teen around resistance and avoidance while maintaining compassion so they can choose growth rather than what they already know.
