Getting Ready For Your Program

What to Bring:

  • Please bring a small and sharp knife—the size of a paring knife or smaller. It is to be used for fashioning various aspects of the drum and beater stick. I will have a few knives if you do not.

  • A large paper grocery bag to carry your wet drum home.

  • Hand towel. The drum skin is soaked and damp.

  • Wear comfortable clothes and layers. Some of you may either be warm or cool depending on the room.

  • Sack lunch, snacks, and drink. We will break for lunch sometime after 12pm.
